On 10/27/24 Officers responded to the 400-block of E. Church St, Sandwich, in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon further investigation it was determined that a domestic battery took place. Matthew Wells, 28 years old of Sandwich, Illinois, was placed under arrest and charged with two (2) counts of Domestic Battery. Wells was transported to the DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore, Illinois to await a hearing.
