On 09/12/24 Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Wilshire Dr, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was determined that a battery took place. Officers arrested Shamire T. Woods, 21 years old of Sandwich. Woods was not cooperative however Officers eventually gained compliance. Woods was charged with 2 counts of Domestic Battery and one count of Resisting a Peace Officer. Woods was transported to the DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore, Illinois to await a hearing.
