On 09/05/24 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of N. Latham St. and E. 6th St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Margaret Feret, 65 years old of Aurora, Illinois, was under the influence. Feret was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Feret was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC over .08 and released with a Notice to a Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
