On 06/04/24 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of the 1200-block of E. Church St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Lee W. Baumgartner, 23 years old of Somonauk, Illinois, was under the influence. Baumgartner was placed under arrest and processed at the Sandwich Police Department. He was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC over .08 and issued a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
