On 01/26/24 Sandwich Officers responded to the 600-block of S. Wells St, Sandwich, in reference to a violation of the Sex Offender Registration Act investigation. Upon further investigation it was determined that a violation of the Sex Offender Registration Act had occurred. Thomas J. Binion, 35 years old of Sandwich, Illinois, was placed under arrest for Unlawful Failure to Register as a Sex Offender and Unlawful Presence Within a School Zone. Binion was processed and issued a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
