On 12/26/23 Sandwich Officers were dispatched to the 900-block of E. Church St, Sandwich, to investigate a disturbance. After further investigation, Donavan T. Allen, 47 years old of Earlville, Illinois, was subsequently placed under arrest for 2 counts of Domestic Battery and 1 count of Obstructing Identification. It was also concluded that Allen possessed a valid warrant out of Douglas County for Failing to Appear on an Aggravated DUI charge. Allen was processed at the Sandwich Police Department and then transferred to the DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore, Illinois for housing.
