On 08/14/26 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of 100 block E. Church St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Derek W. Hall, 34 years old of Somonauk, Illinois, was under the influence. Hall was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Hall was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC over .08 and was released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
