On 07/27/26 Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 300-block of Pearl St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was determined that a battery had occurred between household members. Brittany Peterman, 34 years old of Sandwich, Illinois, was placed under arrest. Peterman was charged with one count of Domestic Battery and transported to the DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore, Illinois to await a hearing.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
