On 02/15/26 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of N. 48th Rd. and E. 2750th Rd, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, James Faltz, 19 years old of Sheridan, Illinois, was under the influence. Faltz was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Faltz was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC over .08 and released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
