On 12/16/25 Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the area of the 1400 block of E. Arnold St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was determined that a battery took place between family members. Joseph Allen, 25 year old of Sandwich, Illinois, was placed under arrest and charged with 2 counts of Domestic Battery, 1 count of felony Aggravated Domestic Battery, and 1 count of felony Unlawful Restraint. Allen was transported to DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore, Illinois for housing.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
