On 04/08/25 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of N. DeKalb St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was determined that the driver, Vasana K. Vanshy, 32-year-old of Sandwich, Illinois, did not possess a valid driver’s license. Vanshy also possessed a valid warrant out of Kendall County for failure to appear on a charge of Possession of Cannabis. Vanshy was issued a citation for Driving While License Revoked with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date. Vanshy was taken into custody for the warrant and transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville, Illinois for housing.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
