On 03/14/25 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of South County Line Rd. and S. Main St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Edgar A. Jimenez, 27-year-old of Montgomery, Illinois, was under the influence. Jimenez was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Jimenez was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC over .08 and released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
