On 12/08/24 Officers responded to the area of N. Lafayette St. and E. 3rd St, Sandwich for a report of a vehicle that struck a utility pole and left the scene. Officers conducted an investigation into the crash and were able to identify the driver as a 16 year old male juvenile of Sandwich. The juvenile was placed under arrest for Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident and released on a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
