On 11/29/24 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Sandhurst Dr, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Michael P. O’Mahony, 49 years old of Sandwich, Illinois, was under the influence. O’Mahony was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. O’Mahony was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC over .08, and issued a criminal complaint for Endangering the Life or Health of a Child. O’Mahony was released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
