On 01/02/26 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of E. Church St and Chilton Way in Plano. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Arturo Nunez-Garcia, 48 years old of Plano, Illinois, was under the influence. Nunez-Garcia was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Nunez-Garcia was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC > .08 and released with a Notice to Appear at a future Kendall County court date in Yorkville, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
